Specialized Therapies and Rehabilitation

The foundation of STAR was built upon the passion of our founder, Cristiane Zanardi, to support children and families with disabilities. Cristiane's extensive experience and expertise in early intervention, coupled with her empathetic and observant nature, have positioned her as a leading physical therapist in the region. Her ability to work with families from diverse backgrounds and encourage innovative approaches to child development, such as engaging children in home-based and outdoor activities, sets her apart.

We are thrilled to introduce Nobuko, an occupational therapist who brings a wealth of experience in working with children and families. Both Cristiane and Nobuko have a history of successful collaboration, having worked together in both Part B and Part C services of IDEA. Nobuko's expertise extends to various manual therapy techniques, including massage therapy, craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, and more, all of which she utilizes to address the unique needs of our clients. Her multilingualism, including fluency in Spanish, Japanese, and English, enriches our approach to therapy.
